Hydroelectricty is clean, sustainable, power.
One of Nepal's many mountain rivers. Narrow gorges make ideal locations for hydroelectric power schemes.

About Us

This web site has been the outcome of collaboration between professional contacts and personal friendships between the United Kingdom and Nepalese citizens.

We also happen to be Water Engineers and to hold expertise in a number of the disciplines required to develop projects of this type.

We have seen a need for publicity for the genuine investment opportunities which exist in hydroelectric projects of a type which are too small to attract large international aid grants, yet remain worthwhile projects and can provide enormous benefits on a local level.

Good business depends on many factors. Some of the most important are good relationships between individuals, trust, and understanding of each other’s needs, motivations and ambitions. As stability returns to Nepal we hope that these conditions will prevail, and as far as we can we will do our best to promote them.

This web site is still under construction and if you return over the next few weeks and months you will find more information on one or more specific projects and opportunities. Please do contact us if you require further information.

To contact us with any general enquiry, please email us at info@hydroelectric.org.uk, or complete the form here if you require further information about the Madi-1 project as a possible investor or represent an investment organisation.

Please allow 5 working days for your reply.
